Big support from youth, claims PMK survey
The whirlwind of political activity in PMK’s chief ministerial candidate Anbumani Ramadoss to woo youngsters seems to have paid dividends, as the party’s recent internal survey has shown steady increase of youth’s support from 80 per cent to 90 per cent.

Sources in the party told that the PMK already carried out a survey across the state, which showed that 80 per cent of youngsters backed the party. Elated by this, the PMK cadre and its chief ministerial candidate Anbumani have intensified election campaigns across the state.
Anbumani said, “With the increased support of youngsters as per the survey, we are confident of making an impressive performance. In a majority of my interaction, youngster express their displeasure with the Dravidian parties.”
A K Moorthy, former Union Minister of State for Railways and a prominent face in the PMK, said, “PMK was the first party to conduct a poll survey and release its manifesto. So, we got a good response to both the activities. In fact, the freebies offered by other parties have not gone well with the youngsters. Our manifesto evoked an overwhelming response particularly with youngsters as we did not announce any freebies. So much thought has behind the manifesto to make the promises people-friendly and viable to implement.”
“The PMK earlier conducted survey, which showed that out of 2.25 crore youngsters, around 1.75 crore were in favour of the PMK and it was a clear indication that the youngsters wanted for a change of guard in the state,” said a party cadre.
